Short Film Selection
The festival assembles Chinese and international audio-visual art experts, media industry scholars, and renowned directors as judges for the short film selection process. During the inaugural Beijing-London Short Film Festival, the organizing committee will showcase the shortlisted finalist films at the China (Beijing) Audio-Visual Conference exhibition site, various cinemas, and participating colleges and universities. These exhibitions will include screenings, exchange activities, and multiple forum discussions.
Requirements for Submitted Works
Duration: Up to 45 minutes (exceptional works may be considered).
Subtitles: English subtitles are mandatory for dialogue, narration, and any textual elements.
Specifications: Video file sizes should not exceed 10GB. Preferably, use the MOV/MP4 file format.
Content requirements: All submitted works must be rooted in real-life experiences and actively promote positive energy. They should refrain from including content related to pornography, violence, religion, racial discrimination, or any material that violates the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the United Kingdom, as well as social morality.
Upon submission, contestants grant the Beijing London Short Film Festival Committee the authority to publish the short film introduction, stills, photos of the main creative personnel, and other relevant information in newspapers, TV, internet, mobile phones, and other media platforms. This information will also be featured in promotional prints, publications, and the short film festival's WeChat public account "YouandMe Short Video Festival." Details will be based on the registration materials provided for the competition.

For the email subject and short film file naming, adhere to the format: short film category (digital technology/cultural art/cultural tourism/green environmental protection/sports/food or Culinary) + "short film name” + the name of the main creator.
Registration time will be determined by the time of receipt, and the organizing committee will notify selected works through email/SMS.
The Beijing London Short Film Festival Organizing Committee reserves the right of final interpretation of this announcement, rules, terms or other regulations related to this announcement.
