On June 28, 2023, at 2pm London time, Beijing-London Short Film Festival-Campus Event organized by the Beijing-London Short Film Festival Organizing Committee was held at the University of East Anglia. Founder Zhou Jing, a host of experts and professors exchanged and shared with students from the UEA and the School of Animation and Digital Arts of CUC in the form of "film appreciation+exchange".

The founder of BLSF, Zhou Jing, gave a detailed introduction to BLSF. The holding of BLSF can deepen mutual understanding between the people, especially young people, of the two cities. We believe that through BLSF, it will play a huge role in promoting cultural globalization. BLSF lays a solid foundation for establishing a cultural bond and trade exchange between China and the UK for generations of friendly exchanges, cultural mutual learning. BLSF also injected new vitality into the people of Beijing and London to work together to create a better future.

Ms.Basma Hakim showed us the Norwich city promotional video, from which we can feel the collision of two cultures. We also learned more about the customs and culture of Norwich.
Dr. Thomas Roebuck introduced us to the School of Arts and Humanities, where we gained more knowledge. Through this introduction, everyone has a deeper understanding of this major.
The organizing committee of BLSF is committed to using short films to promote communication among young people across countries, building a bridge of understanding across national borders and languages through images, and building a platform for young filmmakers to gather and exchange ideas.
