Taxi driver Shigeru Yamada drove his taxi into a crowd, causing a significant traffic accident that resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries. The victim’s family member, Kazuhiko Ikeda, and journalist Hidetree Kobayashi, who had been tracking the entire incident, have been eagerly awaiting the outcome of the trial. However, just before the verdict is announced, the accused Shigeru Yamada, due to his advanced age, suddenly collapses and tragically passes away.
