The inspiration for the story comes from the life experience of Mr. Yin Guifang, the "Emperor of Yue Opera". In the boudoir, a woman dressed in a red dowry looked sorrowfully at herself in the mirror. The welcoming procession had arrived outside the door, and a hurried knocking sound hit her heart. Escape or submit? She pushed the window and leaned over, unable to help but recall the memories of her childhood when she first saw the stage of Yue Opera... promoting traditional Chinese opera, cherishing the memory of the masters, and paying tribute to every woman who bravely pursued her dreams.
